Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Kyrodata, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Kyrodata is a subscription market-intelligence service: it combines official public data (foreign trade, production, climate and macroeconomics) with reference series licensed from third parties to produce analyses and forecasts of production, trade flow and price, over horizons of 1 to 12 months. Forecasts are estimates generated by statistical models from historical data — informational by nature, subject to error, and they do not constitute financial, legal or accounting advice nor an investment recommendation. They refer to the physical commodity price; the service issues no signal or recommendation on futures contracts, derivatives or any security. Part of the content (open import and export data and the news section) is free to access. News articles are produced by the team with the support of automated tools and go through editorial review before publication. Support includes an automated assistant inside the platform, which hands over to the human team whatever it cannot resolve. Plans also include the Analyst — an assistant that answers questions about this data inside the platform — and programmatic access to the same data, through an API and a hosted Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, so you can query it from your own tools or from a third-party AI assistant. Answers from the Analyst and from the programmatic channels come from the same measured data that feeds the screens and carry the same caveats set out in section 7.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity on your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Programmatic access is available through the API and the hosted MCP server, using credentials you create in your account. Each credential identifies your account: keep it secret, do not share or publish it, and revoke it in your account if it is exposed — activity carried out with your credentials is treated as yours. When you connect Kyrodata to a third-party AI assistant, that assistant receives, on your behalf, the answers it requests; what it does with them afterwards is governed by that provider's terms, not by these. Access is subject to the limits published for your plan — the credits described in section 5 and the per-credential request ceilings. We may apply, adjust and enforce those limits, and we may suspend a credential or an account that circumvents them, degrades the service for others, or uses automated means to extract the data set as a whole rather than to answer questions.

Subscriptions are paid and recurring, processed by our payment provider. There is a free plan with limited access, and paid plans billed monthly or annually. Price, billing cycle and conditions are disclosed before purchase on the pricing page. Renewal is automatic at the end of each cycle until you cancel, which you can do in your account settings: through the billing portal, when the plan was purchased through it, or through support in the other cases. A receipt for each charge is emailed to you and invoices remain available in your account. Cancellation and refunds follow our Refund Policy. Some features are metered in credits: each plan includes a monthly allowance, which the Analyst and the programmatic channels spend, renewed at the start of each month, and there is also a daily ceiling. Plans without a monthly allowance may have a welcome courtesy, which is lifetime and does not renew. The cost of each operation is stated in the service itself.

Kyrodata's code, design, data curation, models, indices and forecasts are proprietary. The aggregated public data remains in the public domain; reference series licensed from third parties remain subject to their licensors' terms and may not be redistributed from the service. Analyses and visualizations may be used for informational purposes with attribution. Data you obtain from the service — on screen, in reports and exports (CSV and Excel), and through the Analyst, the API or the MCP server — is for your personal or your organization's internal use: it may not be redistributed, resold, published as a database, used to train models, or used to feed a competing service. Assembling your own copy of the data set through repeated programmatic calls is one of those uses, whatever the tool.

Kyrodata is provided "as is". We do not guarantee absolute accuracy of the data — sources are external and may contain errors at origin. Forecasts are model estimates, not a promise of outcome: past performance does not guarantee future performance, and no figure shown is a recommendation to buy, sell or invest. Commercial, financial or investment decisions made based on the service are the sole responsibility of whoever makes them.

You may terminate your account at any time in your account settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be notified by email; the current version is always published on this page.
